The Heartland Scholars Academy connects first-generation business students from rural areas with financial assistance and life-changing opportunities through hands-on learning.
One student benefiting from this program is Sevanna Rowland, a sophomore from Houston, Mo., who dreams of pursuing a career in the fashion industry in a city much larger than her hometown – or Columbia! Thanks to scholarships and other overall support of her journey, the Heartland Scholars Academy is helping Sevanna make that dream a reality.
